Azi at young age she discovered that she had a talent for painting, her first drawing was the portrait of the prince of Persia, and she was encouraged and awarded a gift by the principal of the school to continue drawing and keep the hard work. Later on, she refined her own visual arts, she later on became inspired by the artwork of her first art teacher M. Zanganeh, the Persian famous painter and sculptor, and she learned drawing an oil painting technique by Zanganeh.

Ath age eighteen she held her first exhibition by the help of Mr. Zanganeh at “Tehran Museum of Contemporary art”, and won awards, later on she was admitted at art college, and after two years of hard study she earned associate degree in Art education.

At the age of twenty she became an art teacher, she taught Visual Art at schools, she later on earned her bachelor’s from ” Tehran Farah University faculty of fine Arts”, she pursues painting and taught at college, “Persian Illuminations ( Tazhib ). A unique Persian Art Miniature, Persian calligraphy with paper marbling method.

In (2004) she earned “MFA” in Arts, and her thesis was about “After Life in Ancient Civilization, ” She also utilized her art techniques on stained glass and designed ancient Egyptian symbolism. Azi also worked with different techniques and Media, acrylic, watercolor, carve surface design on wet clays, glass engraving techniques, blowing glass, glass etching with uses acidic, caustic substance to achieve artistic effects.

In (2007) she moved to Turkey, and started working at the Ceramic Art Center, she learned painting with under glaze technique, and worked for two years. She held Ceramic exhibition at Kayseri Art University in Turkey. Later on, she moved to United States of America. in (2011) She collaborated as volunteer with “Asian Pacific Museum,” Pasadena, CA, as a teacher for art activity program, she also contributed group exhibition at “Sacramento Fine Art Center, “Magnum Opus XXVII in Carmichael, CA.
